Our Weekly Programme
is our weekly Youth Discipleship Group for 11-16 year olds that takes place on a Monday Evening, 6.30-8.00 in The Front Room. We share a meal together followed by a session incorporating Bible teaching. The sessions cover relevant topics such as selfesteem, relationships and mental health. The young people have grown immensely through meeting together, learning and expressing their views and questions in a safe environment.
is our weekly children’s activity group for 6-11 year olds taking place on a Wednesday Evening, 5.30-6.45 in The Hall. The children take part in crafts and team activities with the aim of helping them to learn and develop their social skills in a safe environment. We have a theme each week and sometimes have a visitor coming in to lead a section in their area of expertise. This is well attended and enjoyed by children from local primary schools.
Open The Book: Our Open the Book team goes into The Brixham C of E Primary School every Wednesday afternoon. The team acts out Bible stories for the children, teachers and parents and gets the children involved. This has been a very effective way of sharing Bible stories in school. The school is very appreciative of this.
is our weekly Sunday morning children, families and youth programme.
The morning starts at 10.30 in the hall with breakfast together followed by eXcite Tots, Kids and Youth Bible teaching sessions with themes every week. We finish with a time of Worship and sharing in church. eXcite is very well attended by the community and is continuing to grow. We have a wonderful team of volunteers who all have a passion for encouraging and supporting children and families whilst showing them the love of Jesus.
We have a Girls Brigade, Explorers, Juniors and Seniors, that meets on Thursday evenings in term time, 5.45-7.00 in The Church. We cater for girls between the ages of 4 and 18. Working towards badges increases the girls understanding of physical, educational, social and spiritual topics.
Parent and Toddler Group
meet on a Friday morning and is open to both church and non church parents and their children. There is a safe play area which is monitored by helpers allowing parents to chat, network and seek advice and help where needed.
